Mrs. Ott's 4th grade class, students have been working very hard
in writers' workshop. Here are some of their stories:
My Friends

My friends are Mesha and Marcus. Mesha is always nice to Marcus
and me. Sometimes we argue and we solve the problem and Marcus
helps us to solve the problem. I sit next to my friends Mesha and
Marcus. I met Mesha at gym, and Marcus at class. We have been friends
for a long time. Sometimes Mesha comes over to my house and she
sleeps over. We have fun, and we talk to Marcus on the phone.
This is the story of my friends Mesha and Marcus.
Kids Next Door

IN THE CARTOON KIDS NEXT DOOR NUMBER ONE IS DEFINITELY AN A+ TYPE.
NUMBER TWO IS FAT AND DOES THE WOHJAWOH HIT, AND JUMPS IN THE AIR
AND JUMPS RIGHT STRAIGHT AT YOU. AND I SAID "THAT MUST HAVE
HURT." NUMBER 3 GETS BEARS AND LOVES BEARS. NUMBER 4 IS A
TOUGH GUY. NUMBER 5 KEEPS IT COOL - VERY COOL.... THEN AT THAT
MOMENT CAME CRASHING ALL OF THE KIDS NEXT DOOR. THEY WERE GOING
ZEN. BAD MOMA AND DAD CAME AND THEN THE KIDS NEXT DOOR WENT TO
THE GUN ROOM AND NUMBER 5's LEG GOT FROZEN AND NUMBER 3 AND 4 BLAST
THE MOM AND DAD. THEY SAID, WE GIVE UP AND WE WILL RETURN.
My Life

Hi, my name is Mesha. Sometimes I think my life reeks, but most
of the time my life is fun. When I get mad I always lock my door.
And I have friends. They are nice and their names are Tara, Sabrina
and Marcus. And I will always love my life.
Batman 2 - The Joker Returns

Batman was training and he heard something was going on. He saw
a shadow, it looked liked the joker. Batman said "Show yourself." Batman
kicked the joker. The joker said "Why do you kick so hard?" They
were fighting. "Oh no you don't." POW!!!!!!!!!!!
"911, yes, please send the police!" said Batman. The
police came. "You are under arrest," they told the joker. "You
are going to jail!"
Darien Lake

Last summer I went to Six Flags Darien Lake. I went 2 times. I
went with my dad, Kenny, Juana and mom. We went on the Superman
ride and we had fun. I went on the waterlog. I did not get wet.
I splashed my sister.
I would love to go to Darien Lake again.
YUGIOH'S DUEL AND JOEY'S DUEL AT BATTLE
CITY

Yugioh was walking in Battle City and he came to a man who stole
cards from people. He said, " Yugi let's battle." Yugi
said, "Ok!" They did. Yugi's first turn he put the magician
of faith and the other man picked up an Exodeas left leg and he
said, "I'm done."
"It's Yugioh's turn," said Joey and Tristan and Taiyo.
Yugi put down dark magician and magical hats and Yugi said "I'm
done."
The man picked another Exode part and he picked up another exude
and Yugioh picked up chain destruction and he used it on the Exodia
Head and he won.
Yugi's friends and the man that got beaten had come back with
the sorcerer in his body and he said, "I'll get you, Yugi
motowe." The man fell back and Joey said, "Are you okay?"
Then Weevil came and he said, "Do you want to duel?" Joey
said, " Ok, let's duel." The dual began and it was Joey's
first turn and he put out time wizard and his second turn he put
out baby dragon. He made thousand dragon and wiped out weevil's
life points to 0. Joey got great moth and the locator card and
Yugi's grandfather came.

My dog and My Vacation

I love my dog. His name is Coby. My family loves Coby too. He
likes me to run around with him. He likes to take walks. I play
with him with his toys.
Saturday I went outside and played. Sunday I snowblowed. Plus
I went to get a CD. I listened to my CD player. I got a new chapter
book of Tom and Jerry. And I went to a confirmation.
Dare and Booboo

Once upon a time there lived a lion and a bear. The lion was called
Dare and the bear was called Booboo. One day Dare goes in the woods
to find a treasure, and Boo follows him. Dare gets lost. He gets
excited when he gets an idea. "You're so smart, you're so
beautiful!" said Dare. "Won't you guide us back?"
Boo's brain pops up. They got back out of the woods.
The lesson is: Don't get fooled by flattery.
Stone Fox
Chapter 11

Once upon a time there lived a grandfather and a boy. Once grandfather
got very sick. The boy had to think fast or Grandfather will die.
Then a man came there and that was Stone Fox. He brought some medicine.
In a month Grandfather got better.
Stone Fox and Grandfather and the boy made a big dinner for Stone
Fox because Stone Fox helped Grandfather. Stone Fox brought a Husky
dog and the boy said, "I will love you for ever."
