Even more inventions!

Remote Control Toaster
By Kellie and Joelle

Remote Control ToasterWe got our idea from when Kellie asked her mom what would make her life easier. Her mom answered, "An invention that can not get me out of bed but I can still eat breakfast." So Kellie came up with an idea for a remote control toaster.

Our toaster is made out of cardboard, gold spray paint, paper, and for the bread we have actual piece of bread. We made one change on our remote. Instead of using labels for buttons, we just drew them with black marker. We didn't really have any trouble making our invention.

Anybody in the world can use our invention, but we thought a lot of handicapped people could use it, so they could make breakfast more independently. Our invention is so great because people who aren't morning people could get a few more minutes of sleep while their breakfast is being made.

We think in the distant future and with a lot of work our toaster could be made. It would probably be a success. Lots of people will want to eat breakfast in bed.

Marine Cruiser
by Johnny

Marine CruiserMy idea just came to me. My invention is made of cardboard and legos. I made the front out of cardboard and the back end is made of legos.

I think a lot of people would use my invention. Some people would like my invention and some people will not like my invention. I like my invention because it's something I made. I think people need my invention because some people might need to get across some kind of water.

In conclusion, I think a lot of people will use my invention.

Gymnastics Training Machine
by Stephen

Gymnastics Training MachineI chose to invent a gymnastics training machine. My idea came from people whose wish was to be in the Olympics. So this machine will help them get there. Now maybe more people can go to the Olympics. My invention holds four people at a time. Some time my machine might be used around the world.

My invention is made out of plastic connects, paper and a fruit box made of cardboard. The connects are used to make the machine work. There is a black switch on the front of the box. The people go up to the top from a set of stairs. Then they go on a bar and stay in a flexible position until their time is up. The box is covered with a grayish paper. I took out the fruit cups and used the box. The stairs are made of cardboard folded to look like stairs.

I think it is a great invention because it is very helpful. Also, people could use it all over the world.

I have high hopes that my invention is a success because people could really use it. It can also be made in large amounts. I hope some day my invention will be great.

Tyler's Super Travel Computer
by Tyler

Tyler's Super Travel ComputerI got this idea by thinking about how you could carry your information in a pocket-sized computer. I thought it would be cool if we had a computer you could wear. So I figured you could have a semi-translucent computer built into a pair of glasses and a keyboard on your wrist. The memory was stored in the keyboard and they were both connected by a cable.

My invention is made out of sunglasses, velcro, tin foil, stickers, and a data directory. Most of them were pretty easy to find. I made it with the help and concern of friends, family, and teachers. I had no troubles until it came to finding the bag to store it in. We couldn't find what I was looking for until the last minute. Besides the bag, I had no troubles.

Anybody can use my invention. It can be used anywhere. It can be used at work, on a trip, or right at home. It could be used by all ages. Except REALLY young ones, or they will have to be VERY careful. I think my invention is great because now nobody will have to carry around big bulky laptop bags. Or on a plane, you could have one carry-on item instead of 2 or 3. If you don't want to go out to recess and your mean old teacher won't let you use the computer, you will have to take drastic measures and pull out your Tyler's Super Travel Computer.

I don't think my invention can be made soon, but maybe in the distant future. I don't think it could be made now because it is very complex and we don't have this technology. I do hope it can still be made while I'm alive so I can see the use of my amazing product.

Automatic Cooker Machine
by Alexandra

Automatic Cooker MachineMy idea is an Automatic Cooker Machine. I wanted to invent this because I did not want to set the table or cook anymore so I wanted something that did that for me. So I thought of something that cooks food, makes or pours drinks, an automatic cooker machine. I made my machine with stickers, pictures, paper, wrapping paper, the computer, and a box. I put the wrapping paper on top of the box. Second I put the paper on the wrapping paper. I typed the fruit, drinks, the hot and the cold on the computer. After that I put the pictures on it and the stickers for the decoration. I didn't have trouble with anything.

I think anyone could use my machine, especially handicapped people. I think it could be used anywhere, even in a house, a restaurant, and even in a school. I think people need it because if someone doesn't like to cook or is lazy, then they will just get this.

I really think that my invention could really be invented and it could really make me a fortune!!

Clothing For the Blind
by Joanna

Clothing For the BlindMy invention is clothing for the blind. I have one or two reasons for this invention. One reason is that I think the blind need a new, better, improved way to get around. Lastly because I live next door to Mrs. Rice and she raises Seeing Eye dogs. So I thought instead of dogs, why not clothing.

My creation/invention is very simple. It is made of 5 things. One is an old pair of blue jeans flares. Two, an old shirt. Lastly, some tape and markers and a sheet of paper.

This invention was easy to make. It was easy because all I had to do was color in 4 circles and tape them to a shirt and jeans. So I had no difficulty in making this invention.
I personally don't think my invention is great. Other people may think that. But for every invention there is room for improvement. So I don't think my invention is great.

One day I do believe my invention could be made a success. We have the technology, and clothing for the blind would be a great thing to have around in the world.

The Magnificent Bottle
by Sara and Courtney

The Magnificent BottleWe got our idea of the hair bottle because we always like to do people's hair. We just thought of a bottle and decorated it. We thought of it because it does the hair quickly. YOU DON'T WAIT AROUND!

The materials we need are foil, gel pens, and an empty spray bottle. We didn't have any problems or changes. We made it by putting foil on and then going over it with markers.

Everybody could use it from ages 3 and up (only if a parent is around). The parent does it and the kid sprays it. Also a teenager could use it. It will be used by talking into the speaker and pushing the button and spray. Then you would have to wait 5-10 minutes for the spray to work according to the button the person picked.

It is great because everyone loves it and it does everything the person wants done to their hair and because you don't get messy.

AC Shoes
by Kara

AC ShoesFor my project I chose to make shoes with air conditioning. I chose to make air conditioned shoes because feet are always known as being smelly. These shoes would prevent your feet from becoming sweaty and smelly, and feet would have a better reputation.

I made these shoes with tape, markers, and old shoes. I drew the buttons on the tape and put the tape on the shoes. I did not have trouble with my invention and did not change it at all from my first idea.

Anyone will be able to use my product at anytime. No one will actually need my product, but these shoes are very nice to have on a hot day. I think that some day this product could really be made.

Goodbye and good luck to all fifth graders as they move to Cosgrove!!  We will miss you all!!

Bye!
